Justin Bieber has revealed that he has “complete paralysis” on one side of his face, forcing him to cancel a series of shows after a virus attacked the nerves in his ear. The Canadian pop superstar, who canceled the upcoming shows on Purpose tour, explained that he suffered from Ramsay Hunt syndrome “very serious”. Posting a video on Instagram, the 28-year-old said: “This virus attacks the nerve in my ear to the nerves of my face and has caused paralysis in my face. “As you can see, this eye does not blink. I can not smile on this side of my face. “This nostril will not move, so there is complete paralysis on this side of my face.” In the video, Bieber tries to smile, blink and move his face, but one side remained motionless as he continued to talk. He added: “Therefore, for those who are disappointed with my cancellations in the next performances, I am not physically, obviously I can not do them. This is very serious as you can see. “I wish it were not so, but obviously my body is telling me I need to slow down. “I hope you understand, and I will use this time to rest and relax and get back to 100% so I can do what I was born to do. “But in the meantime, that’s not it.” Want more from the arts and entertainment world?
