The U.S. military says three men have been arrested in connection with the June 2 death of 17-year-old Ethan Liming in a parking lot at Akron School. 20-year-old Deshawn Stafford Jr., 19-year-old Tyler Stafford and 21-year-old Donovon Jones were arrested Saturday morning by U.S. fugitives Marshals North Ohio and Akron police in two separate apartment buildings. “I am pleased to announce that today, officers of the Akron Police Department have made several arrests in connection with the death of Ethan Liming,” Akron Police Chief Steven Milett said in a press release. “We thank the members of the community for their support that helped the researchers throughout this research.” Pictured below are: Tyler Stafford, Donovon Jones and Deshawn Stafford. Officials said the teenager died from a blunt force wound to the head after allegedly falling into an argument with a water pistol. Authorities say Liming was lying on the ground in the parking lot when police arrived. They failed to bring him back to life and he was pronounced dead at the scene. ETHAN LIMING’S FAMILY IS LOOKING FOR ANSWERS TO THE 17-YEAR-OLD 17-YEAR-OLD HIT AT SCHOOL: “ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE” Police said “at the time of the incident, one or more occupants of the [Liming]”His vehicle was passing around the area, firing a SPLATRBALL Water Bead Blaster at objects and possibly unsuspecting people,” according to a statement issued to the public. They then drove towards the basketball courts, where the group of teenagers “targeted or approached the people who were on the court and shot at them with the soft gun with gel”. These actions seem to have caused the quarrel. Ethan Liming (Bill Liming) At a news conference on June 8, Mylett said at least two people in Liming’s car got out and started shooting at four people playing basketball on the court. Mylett said the group fled before they were all in Liming’s car where Liming was eventually killed. The firearm was pulled from the spot and included as evidence in the deposition. (Akron Police Station) DEATH ITHAN LINGING: AKRON POLICE SAID A 17-YEAR-OLD TEEN WAS “ATTACKED” AFTER CONTENT WITH WATER Police have offered a ransom of up to $ 30,000 for information on Liming’s killers since June 9. “Ethan Liming was a young man with a full life ahead of him and this bright future was unreasonably taken away from him in the most brutal way,” Akron Mayor Dan Horgan told the original press release.
