It was an indifferent end to a busy Saturday on Shelborne Street, north of Commissioners Street and between Deveron Crescent and Pond Mills Road, where London police tactical teams, K-9 uniforms and units gathered in the mansion complex behind Paranyde Bar and Grill. They started gathering there after the first reports at around 2:30 on Saturday morning that there were shootings in “a shop” on the streets of Commissioners and Pond Mills. There were no injuries, but police confirmed that they had found evidence of gunfire. London police did not name the operation involved, but as heavily armed police cordoned off the mansion, there were uniformed police and a forensic unit at the nightclub, just a five-minute walk from the all-day stand.

As soon as the papers arrived on the scene, the people left the area. The police loudspeaker indicated that the man was to be charged with illegal possession of a firearm.
