He had a caring nature, without a bad bone in his body, and was liked by everyone who knew him. “He liked his routine, he was adapted to his way and he was happy and satisfied with his luck. He had no care in the world and lived his life without causing any harm to anyone else. “Dave’s death, under such tragic circumstances, had a devastating effect on everyone who knew him and left his three brothers with the heartbreaking work to learn to live without him.” Police say the investigation is “very ongoing”. Chief Inspector David Meeney, of the GMP City of Manchester division, said: “Our thoughts are with David’s family, who are understandably devastated and desperately want some answers that many detectives are currently working on. “The investigation is ongoing and we are following a series of investigations that already include thorough CCTV checks. We look forward to hearing from anyone who may have seen the Bloom attack or anyone who may have heard of David to get in touch. “Even the slightest bit of information can be vital.” Anyone with information or anyone who has seen anything can call 0161 856 1259, report it online or via LiveChat at gmp.police.uk or via Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
