Seif Karrawan, a Mississauga man missing since Christmas 2021, was the man whose body was retrieved from a golf course in Milton on Thursday. Halton Regional Police (HRPS) announced Thursday that a sailor unit located the body of a man from Sixteen Mile Creek located at the Royal Ontario Golf Club on Trafalgar Rd. at Milton. A source confirmed to inSauga that the man was Karrawan, who was 48 years old at the time of his disappearance. Karrawan was last heard on December 23, two days before Christmas. His disappearance was announced on December 27. At that time, his family was worried about his well-being. On Thursday, Halton police were called to the Royal Ontario Golf Club around 1pm after a body was found in the creek.
